SUMMARY:Horace Stoneham\, Lake Hopatcong's Giant
DESCRIPTION:Sometimes maligned for moving the team to from New York City to San Francisco\, Horace Stoneham was the longtime owner of the New York Giants baseball team and helped revolutionize the sport. What is far less known is Stoneham’s and his family’s connection as a summer resident of the Northwood section of Lake Hopatcong. Joining us for this very special program will be baseball experts and family members to help celebrate the Stoneham’s presence at Lake Hopatcong. We will gather at the Lake Hopatcong Yacht Club (a locale Stoneham surely visited) and enjoy a Hap Nightingale Beefsteak Dinner (a meal Stoneham himself most likely enjoyed at the lake).\nOnline ticketing will begin at 7:00pm on Sunday\, May 10\, 2026 \n                        SOLD OUT!!!!
