A salute to local resident and internationally known artist Greg Hildebrandt. Greg will be officially welcomed into the Lake Hopatcong “Famous Folks” exhibit at 6:00 pm.
Come meet local artist Tim Maher who produced the recent painting “Greetings from Bertrand Island” to mark 40 years since the park’s last season. Giclees and posters of the painting will be available for purchase. Meet Tim and see a wonderful selection of his paintings. Refreshments will be served.

SOLD OUT!!! The museum will feature a special program almost 35 years to the day that former president Richard Nixon made a very unlikely visit to Landing, New Jersey. In addition to taking a look at that unusual day in June 1989, we will hear from lifetime NJ resident Bob Bostock. A former aide to Dean Gallo, Christine Todd Whitman, and Rodney Frelinghuysen, Bostock will talk about his own unlikely journey from teenage volunteer in the 1972 campaign to working closely with the former president in 1990 in telling the story of the Nixon presidency at the Richard Nixon Presidential Library. Truly a special evening!

After decades of being closed, the restored Hopatcong State Park Fountain will be turned back on this July. Come join us on Tuesday, July 16, ninety-nine years from the date the fountain was first turned on!

On the exact date 100 years from her passing, we will take a look at the amazing Lotta Crabtree. Lotta was the first true celebrity to summer at Lake Hopatcong, helping establish the lake as a major northeast resort.
