Stroll and view the latest changes in your hometown museum as award winning concert pianist Peter Toth plays the Joe Cook piano. Hungarian pianist Peter Toth, who now proudly lives in Hopatcong, is one of the most recognized artists of his generation. He has concertized in most countries in Europe, including Hungary, Austria, Slovakia, Germany, Russia, France, Holland, Spain, Italy, and Switzerland. In addition, he performed in Japan, South Korea, Peru, Costa Rica, China, Australia, and the United States. Join us for a special evening!
Haven’t had a chance to make an appointment to visit but still like to stop by on a weekday afternoon? Here’s your opportunity. The museum will be open to the public from 1:00pm to 4:00pm.
Due to circumstances beyond our control, we must postpone this event to fall 2022. The museum will still be open this Tuesday from 5:00pm to 8:00pm.
A special evening in which internationally renown artist and long-time Hopatcong resident, Greg Hildebrandt joins former residents Lotta Crabtree, Hudson Maxim, and Joe Cook as part of the Lake Hopatcong Historical Museum’s exhibit on “Famous Folks at Lake Hopatcong.”
The museum will have public hours on Monday August 22, 2022 from 3:00pm to 7:00pm. All exhibits are open and the musem gift shop will offer an opportunity to purchase rare vintage postcards from a local vendor.

Old-Fashioned Beefsteak Dinner & Tricky Tray Fundraiser To Restore the Lake’s Iconic Fountain.
The County of Morris has awarded $200,000 to restore this lake landmark. Now the museum has to do its part and raise 20% to finish the job! Come help us on November 13th!

To be shown at the beautifully restored Palace Theatre (which coincidentally also opened in 1919), home of The Growing Stage, The Children’s Theatre of NJ.
