Located in a 19 th century building which originally served as a Morris Canal locktender’s house, the Lake Hopatcong Historical Museum offers an engaging and informative look at the history of New Jersey’s largest lake.

Part of the Lake Hopatcong Historical Museum’s dinner program series.  Flyer to be forwarded to all museum members approximately 6 weeks before the event.  CDC guidelines and safety protocols then in effect will be followed.

Oct 2 @ 10:00 am – 4:00 pm

One of the best days at Lake Hopatcong.  Food, shopping, demonstrations, boat rides and more.  And the Museum is open all day!

Hours of Operation

In accordance with approval granted by the NJDEP Division of Parks & Forestry, the Lake Hopatcong Historical Museum will open on a limited basis.  Visits to the museum will be by appointment only with no more than six visitors in the building at one time. Masks and social distancing will be required.
