Lake Hopatcong, Winters of Old @ The Windlass Restaurant
Nov 6 @ 6:00 am – 8:30 am

Lake Hopatcong was once envisioned as a four season resort. The Lake Hopatcong Winter Carnival of January 1926 featured competitions in speed skating, skate sailing, ice boating, and hockey and the New York Times reported it drew some 15,000 people to the lake. Lake Hopatcong was the long-time home for the Skate Sailing Association of America, a popular hockey league in River Styx, and one of the main ice boating venues in the northeast. Join us as we revisit winters past.

We will enjoy a buffet dinner from The Windlass prior to the program.
